The Banded Peak Challenge for Easter Seals Camp Horizon is organized annually by a group of caring Bragg Creek and Calgary area individuals whose vision is to create a unique outdoor based fundraiser that both families and individuals can participate in; while at the same time, raising important awareness and much needed support to enable children with disabilities and special needs to attend Easter Seals Camp Horizon.
This unique Rocky Mountain fundraising adventure takes place in Kananaskis Country and is a return 27km bike and a 10km hike to the 9,626ft summit of Banded Peak Mountain.
On average, participants of various fitness levels and ages complete the challenge in between 5 to 15 hours. Participants vary from seasoned outdoor enthusiasts to youth and their families. Come out and enjoy the challenge at your own pace!
