Making a change
It's not easy. According to experts, politicians embrace a hierarchy of public-opinion formats. For constituents, that means it matters how -- not just if -- you tell your reps what you think. Politicians want to see that their constituents put effort into getting their opinions across. They want to hear a personal story, see something in handwriting or shake a hand. Online petitions aren't effective and a personal letter is "more meaningful" than a mass-produced one. Going directly to a government web site is more effective than trying to access the government through a third party like braggcreek.ca. But, you can use our info to help make your case.
1. Write a Letter
 Writing a personal letter and/or a letter to the editor of your local news paper is the most effective action you can take.
2. Make a Phone Call
Making a phone call the next most effective action you can take and is less time-consuming. To call government offices long distance for free, dial 310-0000 before the office phone number

Find out who your MLA is and contact them by mail, phone, fax or email.
